Since you get doughnuts for each level up and 3 doughnuts per 1M XP once you complete all the levels , if you have a lot of cash, you can "convert" your cash to doughnuts by buying a selling Bloodmobiles or Rat Traps since they are expensive and quickly generate a lot of XP. Anytime you buy an item, you get XP. The more expensive the item, the more XP you get. I don't know the exact numbers, but Bloodmobiles and Rat Traps have the best XP to cost ratio of instant build, expensive items, so that's why so many people use them.

Kwik E Marts have the best ratio, but take 4 hours to build and you have to build a lot more to get the same amour of XP.

You get xp just by buying and placing anything. It's just that bloodmobiles are particularly effective. I have not been playing that long, but I am here a lot.

OP did mis-state the price, though. I don't know if that's the peak price. If so, OP was just off by a zero. If you use the XP modifier when you have cash to build lots, you get the donuts back from levelling up.

Basic safety though, I recommend changing your password before and after - I always change it to something like "Pw0rd" for the transaction and then to a legit password after. Now the price goes up and the time before you see a return on your investment goes from days to years. I bought about of each orange and white houses. I just spent 80 million buying and selling that blood mobile leveling up to level and I still don't have Maggie on my mountain yet. As long as you collect once a day, you should make at least half a million in profit so over a period of months you amass tens of millions.
