No matter how simple or complex, you can ask it here. I am planning to use this fund for retirment and dont think I would be using it earlier. Below are the available option. I would appreciate if anyone can suggest.

WF does not have any Index fund. MNTRX and WFNDX looks good.

Any help is appreciated. Is there an alternative vendor to use for the HSA? In any case the decision would be related to what you are holding in all your other accounts. Probably this HSA is a minor fraction of your total savings depending on amounts in K, IRA, etc.

It now appears the Wells Fargo might have the best health savings account (HSA) for investing, provided you don't actually use it for any healthcare expenses. Thoughts? : financialindependence

On the other hand, maybe if you have a bad K, these expenses are relatively good, but one hopes that is not the case. We just do the Target Date fund As for the high expense ratios: I did a quick Morningstar comparison between MNTRX bond fund vs. Vanguard VBMFX and the Wells Fargo fund outperforms it on the Chart at least. The portfolio makeup doesn't look that different between the two funds. The expense ratio is. Vanguard charges 45 dollars and WF does not charge anything if I maintain dollars and it also does not charges commission for trading.
